Carapace up to 7cm. 

Description
:
Body oval, laking teeth at margins. Blu-grey, turquoise or yellow carapace with purple legs. Walking legs with heavy fringe of silky hairs. Claws toothed. Claws asymetric (heterochely), but larger one less than x2 size of smaller one.

Ecology
Lives in large in muddy areas, primarily in Red Mangrove swamps, where it collects the trees' leaves into its burrows for later consumption. Will also feed on roots and detritus.

Sluggish activity.

Life Cycle
Migrates once a year during the rainy season (especially first days of New and Full Moons), when individuals leave their burrows and travel to the sea where they copulate and release their larvae.
